A. Nitrates spill into the river and pollute it. Nitrates allow algal blooms to grow out of control and suffocate other life forms. also runoff form pesticides and other chemicals also flow into the river Agriculture also causes more erosion than naturally occurring vegetation and soil flowing into the river makes it muddier
